Ghar Se Nikalte...

I guess most of my recent posts have been about romantic songs from Bollywood. So, I just thought may be it's reflecting the title of the blog..Many Moods..and with the onset of monsoon, I guess, the season of romance is here.

So keeping with this theme, I will just like to share one my favourite songs, which cannot miss a mention.

I am sure anyone who has heard this song will agree that it is a gem.

Very well written, sung, and picturised.

If you haven't , have a look and I am sure you will not prove me wrong :-)

One of the most romantic duets: Aapko Pyaar Chupane...

Just thinking of some of the beautiful romantic songs, I think many of you will agree that this song from Nila Aakash comes to our minds immediately. "Aaapko Pyaar Chupane.."...sung by Mohd. Rafi and Asha Bhonsle

The lyrics captures the sublime romantic exchanges between the hero and the heroine so very beautifully. Mellifluous voices of Rafi and Asha and beautiful composition by Madan Mohan surely makes this song touch the romatic chord very naturally.

It is almost like a conversation between two people who know each other so well but still do not want to say in plain words their liking for each other. Lyrics (by Raja Mehdi Ali Khan) that captures this hide-n-seek of the on-screen couple makes this song a treat to hear and watch too.

Meri Sanson Mein Basa Hai

Thinking of beautiful lyrics, in the last decade too..there have been many songs that have stood out. Though people compare today's songs pretty unfavourably with the olden goldies (quite correctly so most of the times) but sometimes we get to hear such songs that are on par with the songs of yester years. One such song I think is this " Meri Sanso Mein Basa Hai...".

Lyrics: Who else? Gulzar Music: Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan (superb)
Amazing lyrics filled with heart-warming romantic and beautiful feelings. And the perfect "dil-se" rendering by Udit Narayan makes it a "not-to-be-missed" song!
Here it is:

Aapki Nazron Ne Samjha

As I talked about the song "Tumne Mujhe Dekha" in the last post, I was just reflecting on the lyrics again. The lyrics is made beautiful by the soft intonation given to the way the eyes have conveyed their message. Eyes, as they say are the windows to a person's soul.

And the word's hindi equivalent "Aankh/Aankhein/Nazar" has been used time and again by many poets/lyricists to describe the romantic feelings in many Bollywood songs.

There are so many songs..one that comes to my mind right now..in a very soothing way..is a very beautiful song (from Anpadh) composed by another genius Madan Mohan.
The song: "Aapki Nazron Ne Samjha.."
